How to setup a Data Studio dashboard using Indexing Insight
The Indexing Insight Data Studio integration can be setup in 3 easy steps.
The BigQuery feature is a requirement to use Data Studio template.
Step 1: Grab the Google Index Health Data Studio Workbook
This step is very simple.
Visit the Data Studio template below.
Step 2: Copy the template and select new data sources
Next, you'll need to copy the template into your account.
When you do, you'll be asked to replace the data sources in the template.
The Data Studio template is powered by the Indexing Insight BigQuery feature. This means you'll need to add your BigQuery datasets and tables a new data sources.
All you need to do is to click on Create data source and search for the BigQuery integration.
Then select the appropriate BigQuery datasource to match the correct data source.
When replacing the data sources remember the time series table is for charts and the URL report table is for your tables.
Step 3: Enjoy the Google Index Health Workbook template
That's it!
The Data Studio template should now work. AND it will automatically pull your Google indexing data on a daily basis.
