Multiple Search Console Accounts

A guide to the multiple Google account settings

Updated today

A guide to the multiple Google Search Console Accounts feature in account settings.

What is the Multiple Search Console Accounts feature?

The feature allows you to connect multiple Search Console accounts in one account.

This will allow you to select domain properties to monitor from multiple Search Console accounts. Rather than just relying on one primary Google account.

Why use Multiple Search Console Accounts?

Do you need to monitor a website in another Search Console account?

No problem. The feature allows you to connect another search console account and then adds the new list of domain properties to the websites you can monitor.

Rather than having to play around with permissions to consolidate everything into one Search Console account, you can now connect all your Search Console accounts in one account.

The multiple Search Console account feature is perfect for consultants and agencies who need to jump between multiple Search Console accounts.

How to add multiple Google Accounts?

The multiple Search Console feature is easy to use.

Step 1: Navigate to Account Settings > Search Console Management

Step 2: Click on Connect a Google Account and select your Google account.

Step 3: You will need to grant Indexing Insight permission to view and edit access...

...which will allow our tool to view the list of web properties, sitemaps and add web properties to your account.

Note: Learn more about how we use the edit and view permissions in the Google Search Console API.

That's it!

When setting up a new project, you can now view a list of domain properties from your Search Console account directly at launch.
