Step 1: Visit the "Suggested Web Properties" page

Then click on the web properties settings in your account.

In the Properties setting page, if you are eligible to add suggested web properties, you should see the following message:

The suggested web properties message appears when:

  1. Excluded URLs: Our system has detected you have Excluded URLs that have been downloaded but not mapped to any web properties.

  2. Mapped URLs: Our system has detected that your web properties can be broken down further into smaller web properties.

You can visit the Suggested Web Properties page by clicking on Add suggested properties.

Step 2: Identify relevant suggested web properties

The suggested web properties page shows a list of potential web properties.

You will need to identify the relevant web properties in the list you need to add to your account to start to monitor the pages.

Why would you want to add suggested web properties?

There are two reasons:

  1. Monitor more pages: You want to monitor pages that are in the Excluded URLs list and map these pages to new web properties.

  2. Monitor your website faster: You want to monitor your website even faster by breaking down big web properties into smaller web properties.

You will need to review the list of suggested web properties to either:

  1. Start monitoring pages in a specific site section OR

  2. Add multiple web properties to break down a large site section.

A page is only monitored if its been downloaded and mapped to a web property. If it's not mapped to a specific web property it won't be monitored.

When you add properties to your account, you will be sent to the web properties settings page. And you will see the following message.

That's it!
